2.What type of Camper Vans do you have?
Our Vans are all restored Type 2 VW Camper Vans

3.How many people will the Camper sleep?
The Vans will sleep 4 and also have seat-belt facilities for 4. Having the awning attached not only gives you added shelter/shade but will also give you a choice of places to bed down.

4.Can the vans be taken to Europe/Ireland?
We offer our Vans for hire in England, Scotland and Wales.

5.When can I pick up and return the Van?
During peak season, we hire the vans out for full weeks only. They can be collected from 2pm on a Friday and returned by 6pm on a Thursday. Off peak we are more flexible so please feel free to contact us with your requirements.

6.What are they like to drive?
If you’re looking for an upper body workout – it’s free! Take yourself back in time before the days of power steering and electronics. All the controls however are in the normal place and with a bit of practice you’ll soon be an expert driver. Please remember these Vans are around 30 years old and should be treated with the respect that they deserve. They love to cruise at between 50 and 60 mph.

7.Are the Vans equipped with CD players?
Does a hobby horse have wooden bits !! Don’t forget to bring your favourite tunes ?

8.What happens in the event of a breakdown?
All the Vans are well maintained and serviced regularly, but in the unlikely event of a breakdown all vehicles are covered by AA Relay. If the AA is unable to get you going, then we may either replace the Van (subject to availability) or refund the remaining part of the hire period.

9.What is included in the cost of the hire?
Insurance for one named driver (Additional drivers can be added at extra cost through the Insurance Company, Contact us for details.) See ‘Vans’ for a full list of equipment.

10.What are the age restrictions?
Our insurance requires that you are between 25 and 70 years old.

11.How do we pay?
Please make cheques payable to ‘Cotswold Campers’ and send to Rushwind House, Laurels Rd, Offenham, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 8RE.

12.Do you require a booking deposit?
A deposit of £150 is required to secure your booking and the balance, if greater, should be received 14 days before the start of your trip.

13.Do I need to pay a security deposit on collection day?
Yes, a fully refundable security deposit of £500 is required upon collection. This is to cover any damage caused to the Van or its contents whilst in your hands. Cash or credit/debit card.

14.What do I need to bring on the day?
Each driver needs to bring a full drivers licence (include the paper part if you have a new licence) and a utility bill dated within the last 3 months. You will also need to bring your own bedding. We recommend sleeping bags and can provide these at an additional charge. Don’t forget your CDs!

15.Can we leave our car with you?
We can look after your car whilst you are away but shall not be responsible for its security.

16.What happens if I cancel my booking?
We will be pleased to offer you an alternative date within 12 months, as the booking deposit is non-refundable.
